A self-made entrepreneur, Josephine is the sole founder of Soulstar Creations. She started her fashion career in sales and cultivated a keen eye for merchandising and design aesthetics, eventually creating her own business. With over 30 years experience in the ever-changing fashion industry, Josephine has honed her skills in evolving her company to meet the needs of customers. She continues to take a hands on approach, staying connected with her team, our clients, and retailers.
ARTHUR BROWN
VICE PRESIDENT OF BRAND DEVELOPMENT
Arthur has three decades of experience in fashion and technical design. Throughout the creative process he has sharpened his skills of foresight and adaptability; developing an expertise in the manufacturing process. A cultivated familiarity with multiple aspects of the fashion industry has evolved him into a strong manager and leader, specializing in project organization and client-services communications.
SARA SCHACHNER
CPA CONTROLLER
Sara joined Soulstar Creations as a controller in 2010 and is responsible for all of the accounting and finance for the business. She has over 16 years experience in both the private and public sector and over 12 years experience in the garment/fashion industry. She studied at Adelphi University and at Louisiana State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science with computer concentration. She later became a licensed CPA in 2010.
LUPITA HERNANDEZ
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Efficiency and organizational skills are at the forefront of Lupita’s many talents cultivated in over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. She manages the logistics of the production process through maintaining daily communication with factories and warehousing throughout the time and action process.
